Frequently Asked Questions About Your Delivery
Please note: You must be aged 18 or over to order wine from us and to accept delivery. If you look under 25, our drivers will check you for ID when we deliver your wines.
Deadline for Christmas/ End of Year deliveries is 20th December, Midday. Any deliveries made after that time and date can not be guarantee to arrive before Christmas.
Our UK Delivery Options
Delivery is available to UK and Ireland only, excluding on Weekends and Bank Holidays. Deliveries are sent as soon as possible, usually arriving in 2-5 days.

Our delivery options:
Local Bath Delivery (1-2 days) - Free for any order value to BA1 and BA2 post codes only. Fulfilled by the Novel Wines team. Next Day Delivery is also available locally for weekends.
Bristol Delivery (4-5 days) - £4.99 per order, or free when you spend £75 or more. Sent via our courier partners.
UK Mainland* Delivery (2-5 days) - £7.99 per order, or free when you spend £75 or more. Sent via our courier partners. *Excludes Scottish Highlands and Isles and Northern Ireland.
Highlands & Isles of Scotland - £11.99 per order, or free when you spend £75 or more. Sent via our courier partners. Please note: we try to achieve the best prices we can to get the wines to you, however couriers often charge much higher rates for these zones. We make no profit on delivery fees.
Northern Ireland, Isle of Man & Truro - £19.99 per order. Sent via our courier partners.
Guaranteed Next Day Delivery - £14.99 for any order value, excludes Scottish Highlands and Isles, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Truro and the Republic of Ireland. Orders must be placed by 11am. No deliveries at weekends; Guaranteed Next Day Delivery orders made by 11am on Friday will be delivered on Monday. Orders placed over the weekend will be despatched on Monday for Tuesday delivery.
Delivery instructions:
Please let us know where to leave your wines if you're out. You can specify any special instructions or gift notes in your order checkout. If your delivery cannot be completed, our couriers will leave you a card so you can arrange re-delivery or collection.

Send wines as a gift
We can send out your orders as a gift and include a personal message inside the parcel. This means you can gift a loved one a bottle or case of something truly unique with ease. You can specify that you would like an order to be sent as a gift in the checkout special instructions box.
Unfortunately, we do not offer gift-wrapping services but can send your wine bottles in a gift bag. If you would like to purchase a gift bag or pine wood wine box for your order, please visit our Gifts collection.

Where is my wine?
If you have not received your wine within the estimated time, please get in touch.
What is your minimum order?
While we recommend you purchase at least six bottles of wine (known as a “half case”), there is no minimum order. Orders under £75 will incur a delivery fee.
Am I too late for next day delivery?
Next day delivery is available for UK mainland customers only. Please order by 11am to qualify for next day delivery. We can only deliver Monday - Friday. Any orders placed by 11am on Friday will be delivered on the following Monday. Orders placed after 11am on Friday will be sent out on Monday for next day delivery on Tuesday.
What proof of age will be accepted?
We accept photo IDs that carry the ‘PASS’ logo, a valid passport or driver’s licence.
Can I return my order?
If the wine is faulty or damaged, we will refund you and we may ask you to return your order so that we can investigate the issue. However, if you are looking to return your order because you are unsatisfied with our wines, please get in touch.
Do you deliver at weekends?
No, unfortunately we only offer delivery Monday - Friday.
Bank holidays: No orders, including Next Day, are sent or delivered on bank holidays so please order in good-time.
