Pizzato
Pizzato is a family-owned winery based in Serra Gaúcha, Brazil. The family moved to Brazil in 1880 and cultivated vines to supply larger Brazilian wineries. In 1999 they took these years of generational experience and founded their eponymous family winery. Today they own 45 hectares of vines split between their original Vale dos Vinhedos estate and the newer Dois Lajeados. Vale dos Vinhedos, sitting 500m above sea level, has clay and basaltic soils ideal for red wine grapes. The company is focused on high quality exports.
