Aya Estate Colorito Pinot Noir is a Medium bodied, dry red wine from Struma Valley, Bulgaria. It's 100% Pinot Noir with 14.5% abv.

Ruby colour with a garnet rim and a nose which opens with black cherry and mulberry and spice which gets more intense in the palate. The aftertaste is long, pleasant and fresh complemented by the well-integrated tannins.
The 1,8-ha Pinot Noir vineyard is located close to the town of Kavarna, in the North-East corner of Bulgaria. The climate is dominated by the constant breezes from the Black Sea which help in keeping the sugar levels and acidity of the grapes in balance. The vines are grown organically, following biodynamic practices, with the aim of stimulating healthy and deep root system growth. The grapes are harvested late September and are transferred to a stainless-steel tank for cold maceration and fermentation and finally aged, partly in 400l French oak barrels for 5-6 months while the remaining part ages in stainless-steel tank.
