Damjanic Clemente is a dry, medium bodied red wine from Istria, Croatia. It's a blend of 60% Merlot, 20% Cabernet sauvignon, 10% Teran and 10% Borgonja (aka Blaufrankisch).

A fantastic blend of international grapes (Merlot & Cabernet Franc) and local grapes (Teran and Borgonja). The grapes are then dried in an attic to then go on for ageing in oak for just over a year.
The result is a complex wine with a bouquet of tobacco and black cherry, masses of concentration and plenty of fine tannins. Deep, very dark ruby red color, elegantly entwined with fresh fruit aromas of cherry, currant, blueberry and plum jam with a fresh-rich taste in the mouth, full of warmth and softness. Great with the Sunday roast!
