St Donat 'Marga' Furmint is a dry white wine from Lake Balaton, Hungary. It's 100% Furmint with 13.0% ABV. Suitable for Vegans.
Grown on marl and Marl and loess soils in the Kali Basin area of Lake Balaton, this is a first class selection Furmint. Hand-harvested grapes are fermented and matured for 8 months in ceramic containers, giving the wine a silky, mouth-watering palate with notes of grapefruit citrus, apple and fine minerality.
You'll like this if you like... Chardonnay from the Macon in Burgundy.
Pairs beautifully with: Scallops or fish pie.
