This is a single vineyard Furmint from winemaker Sarolta Bárdos. Using fruit solely from the stony and organically-farmed Rány vineyard, this wine is the purest expression of Furmint in Bardos' range. The vines here are around 50-60 years old and offer excellent concentration, albeit low yields. Aromas of pear, white peach and stones show freshness, while the palate is sensual, layered and brimming with peaches and red apples. The finish is long and lively with refreshing acidity. This is a must-try Furmint.
